Short Week!
After a fantastic weekend in Prague, we are back to normal life (for now).
We arrived home (in Madrid) early Sunday, and went to buy groceries for this week. We stumbled upon a really hip grain store, with giant crates of all types of lentils, cous-cous, fresh pastas, beans, spices, and even chocolate! You just grab a bag and fill it up, and they weigh it at the front, just like a candy store! So we bought some lentils (and chocolate) for the week, and the cashier loves us, so we will definitely be back!
Tuesday we finally secured our class registration, and are only taking 10.5 hours! YAY! Luckily, we are very ahead, so still only have to take 12 hours both semesters next year. Looks like senior year is shaping up to be the best one yet!
Our Schedule in Madrid: (yes dad, we do go to class)
Mondays:
Integrated Communication in Business 3:00-5:00
Sales and Marketing Management II 5:00-7:00
Tuesdays:
Intercultural Management 9:00-11:00
Mergers and Acquisitions 3:00-5:00
Wednesdays:
Sales and Marketing Management II 3:00-5:00
Thursdays:
Intercultural Management 9:00-11:00
History and Culture of Wine 1:00-3:00
Tuesday night, of course is Tapas Tuesday, so we went to get drinks and great food at "Pez Tortilla" however we had a bit of an order mishap. I accidentally ordered an entire tortilla pie, instead of just a slice. Tortilla pie is a delicious local dish filled with eggs, potatoes, and this one had onions, brie, truffle, and bacon. But the good news is, we brought the left overs home for lunch tomorrow! After we finished our craft beers, we planned on watching the Bachelor as we usually do on Tuesdays, but instead came home and planned more trips with Carolyn! Exciting. Trying to plan now, as the longer you wait, the more expensive the flights are!
Wednesday night, same thing -- more travel planning! I made Carolyn and Taylor lentil dinner, and we had chocolate and red wine for dessert! We set a time limit for Carolyn to be able to walk home alone, so she left at 11, and we all went to bed!
Thursday, we just have one short class, are coming home to pack up, and then we are meeting Mom and Shazza in Dublin. We are TOO excited!
Until Dublin...
